Call for papers

Authors are invited to submit extended abstracts reporting original research and recent developments in computational biomedicine, computational physiology, systems medicine, big data, computational & data infrastructures for VPH, or any other topic relating to the Virtual Physiological Human.

The conference theme for this year is translating VPH to the clinic. We therefore specifically call for research dedicated to this theme, without excluding any other VPH related topic.

Extended abstracts of up to 4 pages, written in English and formatted according to the Easychair template, should be submitted electronically. Please use the VPH2016 template (MSWord, PDF).

You submit your abstracts via Easychair. You can indicate if you prefer to present you work as an oral presentation or as a poster. For oral presentations you can indicate your preference in which session you would like to present, see Program at a glance. For the submission deadline, see important dates.

The scientific committee will review all submitted abstracts and will decide if an abstract can be accepted to be presented. All accepted abstracts will be included in the VPH2016 conference proceedings. Selected abstracts will be invited to submit a full paper to a special issue in Interface Focus or the Journal of Computational Science.
